KCRC Rowing

KCRC. . . one of Kansas City's hidden gems

Many are surprised to discover that the Midwest contains numerous strong rowing clubs that compete on a national level — with KCRC being one of them. With a history dating back to 1992, KCRC has been fortunate to have numerous juniors who have gone on to compete at the college level, and masters who bring their wealth of rowing experience to the Club. Those who join KCRC not only improve their rowing skills, but also learn important life skills, such as working with others, coordinating efforts, overcoming competitors, and ultimately seeing just how much they can achieve as individuals and as a team.

KCRC is open to all individuals, regardless of race, gender, ethnic background, sexual orientation, economic status, or athletic ability. If you're willing to work hard and support your teammates, there's a place for you at KCRC. Members are required to complete a U.S. Rowing waiver, pay membership fees and boat storage (if applicable), become familiar with KCRC rules and safety procedures, and demonstrate proficient rowing skill OR complete a beginner rowing clinic. Club membership is not required for learn-to-row sessions or beginner clinics.
