The Kansas City Rowing Club is proud of our ten-year partnership with the Parks and Recreation Department of the Unified Government of Wyandotte County and Kansas City, Kansas.
Welcome to the home of the Kansas City Rowing Club! Our boatyard is located on beautiful Wyandotte County Lake in Kansas. We have Juniors, Collegiate, and Masters programs.
For members, we offer a complete range of club craft from trainers and recreational singles for beginners to racing singles, pairs, doubles, fours, quads, and eights. And we’re proud to announce our new dock was installed in September 2017!
We offer both annual and seasonal memberships. Visit our site on Regatta Central to join. We also offer rack rental for our members who own their own rowing shell (singles and doubles).
Several times a year we offer an on-the-water, 3-hour Learn-to-Row for those who would like to try the sport. For those who would like to learn the sport, we offer 4-week, 8-session on-the-water rowing Clinics. Visit our site on Regatta Central to sign up.
In winter we offer indoor rowing clinics in partnership with Johnson County Parks and Recreation at the Mill Creek Activity Center. Visit the JCPRD Activities website to sign up.
We typically host the All-American Rowing Camp at our boatyard on Memorial Day weekend for advanced rowers. Contact us for more information.
During racing season, our Juniors typically attend one regatta per month. Our Masters typically attend four or five regattas. Visit Regatta Central to sign up for regattas.
